EWTA COVID PROTOCOLS

updated 07/2022
BASIC RISK ASSESSMENT
If any of the below (in red) apply to you, or other risk scenarios not defined here,
please use responsible decision making and postpone as requested.
In-home Rapid Tests are easily acquired. They are recommended to use after taking personal risk and before engaging with others in a known high-risk setting, but are not an accurate measure of exposure,
especially during the initial 5 day incubation period typical of most viruses.
We acknowledge that the nature of this virus has a wide range of effects that vary case-by-case.
Since it is not possible to have a linear, rational response to anything that itself is so complexly pluralistic,
we should instead exercise personal accountability within our community, to the best of our ability,
to minimize or avoid harm to others.
If you have been in a setting within 5 days of your appointment that permitted prolonged close contact with people whose personal circumstances regarding exposure potential have not been disclosed to you, or that pose a potential risk,
postpone your appointment.

If you have had known or suspected exposure to any person with symptoms related to Covid, Flu,
or common cold within 5 days of your appointment,
postpone your appointment.

If you have traveled recently,
postpone your appointment for at least 5 days from return date.

In-Office Covid Protocol

Our current circumstances, including being in the midst of the "cold and flu season"; the sometimes chaotic nature of Cov-10 variants; freedom of air travel, and businesses being in operation in indoor settings, demands a more stringent office protocol for the health of our community.

*the nature of our sessions is higher risk due to prolonged close contact; I spend up to 2 hours with most clients in a small enclosed space, and this is quite different than in-passing engagement in other indoor settings such as grocery stores, etc. Please engage or disengage accordingly, based on your honest personal risk assessment.

*the winter season brings with it naturally a much higher risk of infection of any kind of cold/ flu/ virus.

*holiday and post-holiday travel is common and we recognize the need to use extra caution and risk assessment.

*we have been in a pandemic for 2 years, and many are ready to re-engage with normal visiting and socializing.

I truly appreciate your understanding and continued efforts to help keep myself and my client group better protected in this high-risk setting.
