EWTA offers a neuro-diverse safe space facilitated by a neuro-diverse person who does not believe in the "pathological model" of autism (i.e. "find a cure for autism", "defeating autism", "solving the autism puzzle", etc.).
I believe that paving the way for the defining of, and acceptance of, neurodiversity into our communities should be carried out by neurodiverse people.
One favorite resource of mine is Annie Kotowicz, writer and author of the book called "What I Mean When I Say I'm Autistic". Her social media, book, and website can be found via https://neurobeautiful.com.
