Samhain
We are mistakenly taught to believe that Samhain means "Halloween", and yes, Samhain does correspond to the end of October, but in Gaelic it actually means "Summer's End", marking the beginning of Winter, or the dark half of the year. In Celtic tradition, in Chinese theory, and other indigenous traditions as well, the beginning of Winter is indeed marked by solar alignments taking place in the first couple days of November. We are turning inward now, winding down, and we have been taking stock of what to keep and to let go, as we begin our inner trek to the dream-places of Winter's hibernation. Resting is important now, taking in the nourishment we have gathered in prior seasons

This Session welcomes one to nestle into warm towels and hot packs and go deep into that sacred inner space as you receive the warmth, soothing, pain & anxiety relief. This session is specifically created to keep the aches, pains, and winter blues at bay during the winter months.
