EWTA is devoted to upholding its standards a class-conscious, safe, and inclusive healing space in our community for all bodies and neurotypes, and one that is accessible to everyday people. EWTA acknowledges the broken treaties and resulting distrust and ongoing harm of first nations people, as well as the perpetuation of theft and misuse of the land on which we reside, by the dominant colonial settler culture. EWTA recognizes the destructive implications of capitalism, colonialism, and materialism, including on our personal health, community health, ecological health and that of our non-human relatives, and the health of the Earth that sustains us. EWTA works to promote life-affirming attitudes and actions in light of these overwhelming features of our current global state of being. Non-violent communication and somatic experiencing are encouraged in this space.
"Everything we do is based on agreements we have made ~
~ agreements with ourselves, with other people, with God(dess), and with life.
But the most important agreements are the ones we make with ourselves."
These Agreements are:
Be Impeccable With Your Word.
Don't Take Anything Personally.
Don't Make Assumptions.
Always Do Your Best.
Be Skeptical, But Learn To Listen.
